Put your company in front of the people booking freight
CargoLinked’s directory is where shippers research freight forwarders and forwarders check who else is operating a lane. The requests board is where forwarders browse live shipper demand, looking for freight to quote on. Sponsor slots put your company, service, or event directly in that path — global reach, or narrowed to the one country you actually sell into.
Directory placements
Live in the directory itself, styled to match the listings around them and clearly labelled “Sponsored.” Below is what visitors actually see — these are sample campaigns, not filler.
In-feed
Sits inline between directory listings, so it scrolls past with the same attention as the companies a shipper is actually comparing.

Requests board placements
The requests board (cargolinked.com/requests) is where forwarders browse live shipper demand — open shipments looking for quotes, filterable by lane, cargo type, and mode. It’s a different, arguably higher-intent audience than the directory: the people here are actively hunting for freight to quote on, not comparing companies. Same two spots, same rules.
In-feed
Sits inline between open requests, in front of forwarders actively scanning for freight to quote.

How targeting works
A campaign is either global — it can appear anywhere in its placement — or country-targeted, so it only appears to visitors looking at that country. In the directory, targeting follows what the visitor is actually browsing: someone viewing Vietnamese forwarders sees your Vietnam campaign regardless of where they’re physically located, because intent beats location.
On the requests board, a lane has two ends, so a country-targeted campaign shows when that country is eitherthe origin or the destination someone is filtering for — a Vietnam campaign appears to a forwarder filtering “from Vietnam” and to one filtering “to Vietnam” alike. On pages with no country or lane in them, like the directory root, we fall back to the visitor’s own region.
Country targeting is the right fit if you only operate a handful of lanes or are promoting a regional event. Global is the right fit if you want reach across the whole placement.
Rates
Campaigns run for a set date range — a week or a month is typical, and either can be extended or renewed. Cost depends on placement (directory or requests board, in-feed vs. sidebar), reach (global vs. a single country), and duration. There’s no self-serve checkout or public price list: every campaign is set up by hand, so we can make sure the creative fits and the targeting matches what you’re actually selling.
