Freight Forwarding Software Compared: What Eight Systems Actually Do

Frequently Asked Questions

Which freight forwarding software publishes its pricing?+

Of the eight systems reviewed, only Logitude World publishes a rate card: Smart at $75 per user per month and Professional at $99 per user per month, with a custom enterprise tier for 30 or more users. Every other vendor, including CargoWise, Magaya, GoFreight and Logiware, requires a demo or sales conversation. Freightify and FreightPOP show named tiers with no currency figures, which is not the same as a published price.

Is CargoWise only for large forwarders?+

CargoWise does not state a minimum customer size on its site. It positions itself at global logistics leaders and its published customer logos are large multinational forwarders, and it does not publish pricing. Smaller forwarders do run it, but the implementation effort and cost are substantially higher than for SMB-focused products, so the practical answer depends on a quote for your specific operation.

Will forwarding software bring me more customers?+

No. Every system reviewed helps you process work you already have: quoting faster, filing customs, invoicing accurately. None of them generate enquiries. If your constraint is cargo volume rather than processing capacity, software will not solve it, and a multi-year contract signed for that reason will disappoint.
