How are companies ordered in the directory?

Every directory page uses the same order, including search results and the country and city pages. It does not change from visitor to visitor, and a listing cannot buy a higher place within its group.

• Connected members, the most recent subscription first
• Then listings holding the Verified badge, the most recently granted first
• Then every other live listing, the most recently published first
• Then unclaimed listings imported from public sources, in alphabetical order

Connected members are listings on any paid membership. A listing moves when something about the listing changes: it takes a paid membership, it earns the badge, or it goes live. Renewing a subscription, monthly or yearly, does not move it, and neither does signing in. If a paid membership ends, the listing returns to the group it would otherwise be in and keeps its place there.

Members can boost their listing with CargoLinked Credits. Boosted listings appear in a separate Boosted section while the boost runs; a boost does not change the order of the directory list itself.

Nothing in a listing is reviewed before it goes live. The Verified badge is the one exception, and it applies only to the listing that holds it, after documents have been checked.
